Stage Vet Jeremy Strong Gets Romantic with Liv Tyler in 'The Romantics'

Variety reports that Broadway thespian Jeremy Strong join Liv Tyler in the film The Romantics.

The film, adapted by Galt Niederhoffer from her novel of the same name will also direct. The film tells the story of seven acquaintances who reunite at the wedding of two of their friends. 

Production details and additional casting have yet to be announced.

Strong played Richard Rich was recently seen in his Broadway debut in the revival of A Man for All Seasons. Off-Broadway credits include John Patrick Shanley's Defiance, directed by Doug Hughes at MTC; Our House; Richard Nelson's Frank's Home directed by Robert Falls at Playwrights Horizons; and New Jerusalem, for which he was recognized with a Lucille Lortel nomination. Stong has additionally appeared in the films The Happening by M. Night Shamulan and Humboldt County.
