Spanish Language HBO Pilot MEXICO CITY: GOOD THINGS HAPPEN with Fred Armisen

According to Variety, Fred Armisen is on board for the new Spanish language HBO pilot. The comedian is set to write, star and executive produce the new project. The new half hour show is premised on a group of friends who are fanatical about horror films.

Also set to join Armisen on the new show in the same capacity are Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega. Legendary SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE creator and produce Lorne Michaels will also executive produce the show. The show is being produced by Michaels' company, Broadway Video in association with Más Mejor.

Armisen is known for his 11 season run as a cast member on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Other projects of his include IFC's PORTLANDIA and DOCUMENTARY NOW, as well as NBC's LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS.
