By:

AMERICAN IDOL finalist and former 'WICKED' cast member Adam Lambert continues to bring the house down and the audience to its feet every week with his high-wire performances and soaring vocals.

The Los Angeles based Lambert found a creative "home" at West Hollywood's Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant. BroadwayWorld readers will be familiar with that venue as 'Upright' founders and producers Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel are current members of the BroadwayWorld.com "family" with their 'WEST SIDE STORIES' features seen right here on BWW TV.

The AMERICAN IDOL standout spent many an evening crooning songs in that expressive voice of his on the Upright Cabaret stage, and a few special performances were captured that we are excited to bring you here on STAGE TUBE. In this feature, Adam Lambert lends his stunning vocals to an emotional take on the classic, "Dust in the Wind".

Stay tuned for more Adam Lambert performances including an exclusive Upright Cabaret segment on his theatrical "roots", only here on BWW TV!

The Upright boys were even quoted in a recent New York Post article on Lambert stating that, "He's a complete professional", says executive producer Chris Isaacson, "he always knows his music and he's always on time." Isaacson describes Lambert to the Post's TV WEEK as, "a very nice soul" and insists, "You get no Diva from him."

Isaacson's partner and Upright co-executive producer, Shane Scheel, 32, comments on Lambert being "completely innovative and creative." He adds, "Adam sings a song, does his own twist on it and makes it seem effortless." To read the full TV WEEK article click here.
