Rom-Coms and Crime Dramas to Air on TV5MONDE USA This January!

This January, kick off the New Year with TV5MONDE USA's dynamic lineup of crime dramas, thrillers and romantic comedies. The month features The Murderer Lives at Number 21, a classic crime drama following a small-time detective who is tracking down one Paris' most notorious murders; Almost like the others, a moving family drama about a couple who discovers that their son is suffering from a mental illness; and The Sucker, a comedy following the fate of a small-time shop keeper who gets tricked into transporting stolen goods throughout Europe.

As Antoine Maréchal, a small time shop keeper is driving during the holidays, his car is struck by the Bentley of Léopold Saroyan, the director of an import-export company. As a replacement for the accident, Saroyan offers Maréchal to drive his best friend's 1964 Cadillac DeVille from Naples to Bordeaux, all expenses paid. Chaos erupts when Maréchal discovers that the Cadillac is filled with drugs, stolen gold and the largest diamond in the World, the Younkounkoun. This film stars Honorary César award-winning actor Louis de Funès as Léopold Saroyan.

Things take turn for the worse when Christophe begins to take refuge in alcohol and Séverine is forced to put her career on hold. César nominated actress Julie-Marie Parmentier stars as Séverine.

When Arthur and Anatole, two French thieves discover a Parisian train carrying NATO funds, they decide to raid the train before it reaches its secret destination in Brussels. Chaos erupts when Arthur and Anatole learn that the rival team is working with the Sicilian mafia and a top criminal mastermind to fulfill their mission.
