Peter MacNicol Joins New CBS Show, CSI: CYBER

Emmy Award-winner and Broadway veteran Peter MacNicol (Crimes of the Heart, 1981) will be a season regular on the newest CSI chapter, CSI: CYBER.

According to Entertainment Weekly, MacNicol will play Stravros Sifter, "a shrewd and savvy networker" and "a charmer with a hint of malice," who is part of the Cyber Crime Division in Washington, D.C. His character supervises Patricia Arquette's character, Special Agent Avery Ryan. MacNicol is joining Arquette and Charley Koontz in this midseason CSI spinoff.

CSI: CYBER will air on Sundays at 10pm on CBS, making its television premiere in January.
