Patrick Wilson, Laysla De Oliveira and Harrison Gilbertson to Star in Netflix's IN THE TALL GRASS

In The Tall Grass is about to begin production in Toronto for Netflix, according to Deadline. The Vincenzo Natali-directed thriller Patrick Wilson, Laysla De Oliveira and Harrison Gilbertson.

In the Tall Grass is based on a short story by Stephen King and son Joe Hill that was published in Esquire Magazine. Netflix previously acquired the underlying short story rights, and James Marsden was initially attached, but scheduling lost him the lead role.

In the Tall Grass, after hearing a young boy's cry for help, a sister and brother venture into a vast field of tall grass in Kansas but soon discover there may be no way out... and that something evil lurks within the tall grass.

Netflix will release the film worldwide in 2019.
