Oxford Film Festival Set for Feb. 6-9, 2014; Submissions Now Accepted

It was announced today that the 2014 Oxford Film Festival is set for February 6-9, 2014. Submissions are now being accepted.

When you submit your film to Oxford Film Festival, you get a second bonus submission to the Audience Awards. Recently partnered with the exciting new online festival, Oxford will provide instructions on a waiver code to the festival once you submit to Oxford.

Want to get a waiver to Oxford? Copy the fest's address (info@oxfordfilmfest.com) on an email that spreads the word about The Call for entries to at least 10 other filmmakers and they will send you a waiver code.

As for submitting to Oxford, the festival has created a new submission process for the 2014 festival. The festival has created its own online form on its website with flat rates and only two deadlines: September 15, 2013 for "early bird" pricing, and November 15, 2013 for "regular pricing."

The reduced costs for both the filmmaker and festival will allow more funds raised by the nonprofit to put toward the event instead of overhead costs.

Early bird pricing begins July 1 to Sept. 15 and is $15 for short films, $30 for feature films and $5 for Mississippi music videos.

Regular pricing is from Sept. 16 to Nov. 15 and is $25 for short films, $40 for feature films and $5 for music videos.

Fee waivers are only granted to invited films and festival alumni.
