Discovery Inc. CEO David Zaslav told participants in a conference call that HGTV, the network acquired by Discovery when it purchased Scripps Networks, has bought The Brady Bunch house, according to Variety.
"I am excited to share that HGTV is the winning bidder and will restore the Brady Bunch home to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can," said Zaslav. "More details to come over the next few months, but we will bring all the resources to bear to tell safe, fun stories with this beloved piece of American TV history."
The home, located in Studio City, California, was used in many of the exterior shots of the show. Former N*SYNC member Lance Bass had previously bid on the house, but lost out to HGTV. He took to Twitter to comment:
