November 2016 Lineup Announced for WORLD OF X GAMES

The WORLD OF X GAMES series on ABC will feature a heavy lineup of weekly ACTION SPORTS content throughout the month of November, beginning with highlights from the Freestyle MOTOCROSS competitions at the Monster Energy High Roller event. November also features athlete-focused documentaries chronicling the seasons of skateboarder Alec Majerus and snowboarder Mark McMorris. Fan-favorite Peace Park returns for its fifth installment and the Powell Peralta team resurrects the Animal Chin ramp for the first time in 30 years.

Monster Energy High Rollers Event

Airs: 11/6 at 3 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC

The inaugural Monster Energy High Rollers FMX CONTEST to took place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada during Monster Energy Cup on Saturday, October 15, 2016. With a total prize purse of $100,000 the Monster Energy FMX High Rollers CONTEST saw 30 of the world's best freestyle MOTOCROSS experts battle it out in three competition formats: Dirt Shark Biggest Whip, Freestyle and FMX Quarterpipe Big Air. The Biggest Whip competition also served as the official qualifier for the Moto X Best Whip event at the upcoming X GAMES Minneapolis 2017. Alec Majerus Project

Airs: 11/13 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

Over the past year and a half, skateboarder Alec Majerus experienced one of the busiest season of his life. In addition to landing on major CONTEST podiums, Majerus filmed three of his heaviest video parts - Adidas, Volcom and Real Street all released May 2016. On the flip side, Majerus also suffered a broken leg and staph infection which sidelined him for 10 months. The Alec Majerus Project will take fans through the highs and lows, explaining how he keeps his stoke for the one thing that makes him happiest, skateboarding.

Animal Chin 30th Anniversay - "The Search Is Never Over"

Airs: 11/13 at 4:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT on ABC

The biggest skateboard film of the mid-'80s, The Search for Animal Chin helped to catapult the sport into the mainstream. Comprised of some of the most talented skateboarders ever, the film also featured a ramp of unbelievable size and creativity. This ramp had one feature which, more than 30 years later, had never been recreated - until now. The Search Is Never Over will document legendary skaters Lance Mountain, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill and Steve Caballero, along with filmmaker Stacy Peralta, ramp builder Tim Payne, and photographer Grant Brittain, as they reunite to skate the newly built Chin Ramp and try to recapture that pivotal moment in time 30 years later.

WSL: Moche Rip Curl Pro Portugal

Airs: 11/20 at 4 p.m. ET & PT on ABC

Hawaiian John John Florence clinched the 2016 WORLD SURF LEAGUE title in dramatic fashion, with a victory at the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal in Peniche, marking the first time a Hawaiian has held the world surf crown since the late Andy Irons in 2004. In the final, Florence took on rookie Conner Coffin in a close battle which secured Coffin's career high second place finish and catapulted him to 19th place on the Jeep Leaderboard and into Rookie of the Year contention.

Peace Park 5

Airs: 11/27 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC

Peace Park creator Danny Davis gives fans an inside look at the making of the fifth edition of Peace Park. Each year, Davis hosts a group of the world's most creative snowboarders shredding the most unique features of the season at Grand Targhee resort. Each year, Peace Park offers riders an event that celebrates the soul of SNOWBOARDING by giving snowboarders an opportunity to ride a combination of features that don't exist anywhere else without the pressure of a competitive environment. The results are some of the most inspired and progressive riding of the year.

The Process

Airs: 11/27 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT on ABC

Exploring the subconscious of one of snowboarding's fiercest competitors, The Process follows McMorris through the highs and lows of his 2016 season. From early season successes to a catastrophic mid-season injury, and THE JOURNEY to return to what he loves most, The Process is a visual journey into the mind of professional snowboarder Mark McMorris.
