Nicki Minaj to Star in New Reality Series for E!?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, pop star Nicki Minaj is set to star in her own reality series on E!. Gossip maven Perez Hilton reports that he received exclusive confirmation from sources close to the 29-year-old singer that the project is currently "in the works" with the network.

Minaj began her latest gig as one of the newest members of American Idol's judging panelists last week when the show launched its 12th season in New York. Idol host Ryan Seacrest is the producer of another popular reality series on E! -  Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spin off shows. 

The 'Starships' rocker recently picked up an award for Best Female Video at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Her latest album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' will be re-released this November. 

E! has not commented on the report.
