New On TV: 4/28/10

Tonight sees the premiere of a new ABC series, 'Happy Town,' which takes a page from the David Lynch series 'Twin Peaks' -- expect creepy characters and strange story lines. Also new on ABC tonight is 'The Middle,' 'Modern Family' and 'Cougar Town.'

NBC has new episodes of 'Mercy' and 'Law & Order: SVU' while Fox tries to dominate the night with another episode of 'American Idol.' CBS is only airing repeats tonight. The CW airs new editions of 'America's Next Top Model,' 'Fly Girls,' and 'High Society.'

Flipping over to cable, Bravo airs 'Top Chef Masters,' MTV has a new episode of 'The Challenge: Fresh Meat II,' Comedy Central is new with 'South Park,' 'Ugly Americans' and 'The Colbert Report.' And USA has a new episode of 'In Plain Sight.'
