National Geographic Unveils the Genius: Studio to Celebrate GENIUS: PICASSO, A One-Of-A-Kind Experimental Art Lab in NYC

In anticipation of the premiere of the second season of Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated anthology series GENIUS: PICASSO, National Geographic invites you to step inside the GENIUS: STUDIO to reveal a total immersive experience through the lens of an artist.

ABOUT: Inside the GENIUS: STUDIO, consumers will experience larger-than-life installations, interactive spaces and stunning backdrops, full of unique photo moments designed to inspire visitors to create their own masterpieces. On-site activations include:

Design your own work of art on digital easels and try your hand at techniques inspired by Picasso's styles

Become a cubist image in our transformative photo booth

Step between the layers of a cubist-inspired painting to get a deconstructed portrait of yourself

Immerse yourself into a photo set and become part of the composition

The experiential art lab, created by RadicalMedia, is inspired by GENIUS: PICASSO, starring Antonio Banderas and Alex Rich in the joint role of Pablo Picasso. From Academy Award winners Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, the 10-episode series explores the life of Picasso, who always strove to innovate and push the boundaries of artistic expression, leading to his worldwide renown as a genius. The series will premiere with a double episode on Tuesday, April 24, at 9/8c on National Geographic.
