NIGHTLINE Wins in Total Viewers for Second Week in a Row This Season

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.495 million) and Adults 25-54 (588,000-tie) during the week of October 2, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. In Total Viewers, "Nightline" defeated CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.374 million) by 121,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.372 million) by 123,000 to win the first two weeks of the 2017-18 season.
For the 2nd week in a row, "Nightline" improved on the previous week (1.465 million, and 538,000 for w/o 9/25/17) in Total Viewers (+2%) and Adults 25-54 (+9%), delivering its strongest numbers in 4 months - since w/o 6/5/17. "Nightline" saw gains on the year-ago week (1.414 million and 538,000 for w/o 9/26/16) in Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (+9%).
