The Oct. 25 edition of NBC's THIS IS US has generated the biggest L+3 lift for a Tuesday Big 4 telecast in three years in adults 18-49 and in nearly three years in total viewers. Among women 18-49, "Us" generated the biggest lift on record for a Tuesday show on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox.

Last week's "This Is Us" grew by +67% in adults 18-49 (from a 2.42 rating to a 4.05) and +4.1 million viewers overall (8.7 million to 12.8 million) going from "live plus same day" ratings from Nielsen Media Research to "live plus three day" Npower Nielsen figures.

The adult 18-49 lift of 1.63 of a rating point is the biggest for a Tuesday Big 4 show since Oct. 1, 2013 (ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," +1.66).

With the L+3 lift, "Us" is now virtually matching its rating of the prior Tuesday, finishing within 1% in L+3 (with a 4.05 rating versus a 4.10 for the Oct. 11 episode), after finishing within 8% in L+SD (2.42 vs. 2.64).

The total-viewer gain of +4.058 million is the highest since Nov. 26, 2013 (CBS's "Person of Interest," +4.078 million) for a Tuesday telecast on the Big 4 nets.

Among women 18-49, the Oct. 25 "This Is Us" grew +2.42 rating points, increasing from a 3.36 rating to a 5.78. No Tuesday program on the Big 4 has topped that lift in L+3 records dating back to May 2007.
