NBC's THE VOICE is No. 1 for Monday Night Among Big 4 in Key Demo

NBC's "The Voice" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET): Is #1 program of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demographics and is close to rounding up to a 2.3 (currently reporting a 2.24 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).

Is retaining 92% of last week's 2.4 rating in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 (88% versus last week's 2.5 in official nationals), 97% in adults 25-54 (3.3 vs. 3.4) and 100% in men 25-54 (2.4 vs. 2.4).

Wins the 8-10 p.m. time period in adults, men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - the prior week's "Voice" increased by +21% going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" ratings in adults 18-49 (from a 2.45 rating to a 2.97) and by more than 1.5 million viewers overall (10.4 million to 12.0 million).

Upscale: Monday's "Voice" has delivered a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 117 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3). The previous Monday's "Voice" was the night's most upscale telecast on the Big 4, indexing at a 123 among adults 18-49 living in $100K+ homes.

"Blindspot" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): IIs currently up +8% week to week in 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.3) and +3% in total viewers (5.683 million vs. 5.536 million), pending updates.

Ranks #1 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

Will grow dramatically via time-shifting and VOD viewership:

Last week's "Blindspot" grew by +66% going from L+SD to L+3 ratings in 18-49 (1.35 to 2.24) and by more than 3.0 million viewers overall (5.5 million to 8.6 million).

"Blindspot" delivered Monday's biggest L+3 lifts in 18-49 (+66% and +0.89 points) and total viewers (+3.028 million).

Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 125 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

For the Week:

· With two editions of "The Voice," plus "Little Big Shots," "Chicago Fire, " "Chicago Med," "Blindspot" and "Blacklist" all delivering top 30 ratings in adults 18-49 among primetime shows on the Big 4 networks, NBC has averaged a 1.2 rating, 4 share in 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall for the week of April 4-10, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research..


· In a week that included encores of Tuesday's "Voice" and Wednesday's" "Law & Order: SVU" and "Chicago P.D.," NBC finished #2 in total viewers and tied for #2 in the women 18-49 and women 25-54 demographics.


· The Monday edition of "The Voice" ranked #4 among primetime programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX for the week in the key 18-49 demo, with Sunday's "Little Big Shots" tying for #8, Tuesday's "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago Med" tying for #19, Tuesday's "Voice" encore recap tying for #23, Monday's "Blindspot" ranking #27 and Thursday's "Blacklist" tying for #28.


· Season to date, NBC is running within 0.2 of a rating point of #1 behind Super Bowl-boosted CBS in adults 18-49.
