NBC's BEST TIME EVER Ranks as #2 in Time Slot

NBC ties for the nightlong win among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, marking the 12th straight Tuesday NBC has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those nets. NBC took the night outright among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in women 18-49, adults 18-34 and women 18-34.
An encore recap episode of "The Voice" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49. "The Voice" encore is up +5% versus the comparable recap last spring in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.1 from 8-10:01 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4). "The Voice" recap finished #1 or tied for #1 in the time period among those nets in adults and women 18-49, adults and women 18-34 and adults and women 25-54. "The Voice" will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's Tuesday "Voice" increased by +16% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (3.74 to 4.33) and by 1.7 million viewers overall (from 13.6 million to 15.3 million). Upscale: Tuesday's "Voice" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 119 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.Jimmy Fallon topped the combined ratings of Colbert and Kimmel (1.2 vs. a combined 1.1). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Seth Meyers (0.6) tied Colbert (0.6) and outrated Kimmel (0.5), despite starting an hour later. Meyers delivered his highest 18-49 rating for a Tuesday telecast (0.6) in six months (since April 7, 0.6). In metered-market households, Jimmy Fallon equaled his highest household rating for a Tuesday (3.0) since July 14 (3.1) and Meyers matched his Tuesday high since March 3 (1.5). Jimmy Fallon's guests Tuesday night included Lady Gaga, Ronda Rousey and musical guest Hailee Steinfeld, with an appearance by Jay Leno. Seth Meyers' guests included Rooney Mara, Paul Reiser and musical guest Adam Lambert. In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/8; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.8/8; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2. From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/1 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters. From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2). At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
