NBCSN's weekend soccer slate kicks off this Friday, August 8 with Premier League Countdown at 9:30 p.m. ET immediately followed by LA Galaxy hosting San Jose Earthquakes in the California Clasico at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Friday's Premier League Countdown will preview the upcoming Premier League season, which kicks off Saturday, August 16 on NBCSN. Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Countdown and will be joined by former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe and former Jamaican national team player Robbie Earle.

The Galaxy are led by midfielder Landon Donovan, MLS' all-time leading goal scorer with 138 career goals, and forward Robbie Keane as they host U.S. National Team forward Chris Wondolowski and the San Jose Earthquakes.

NBC Sports Group's lead play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match joined by former USMNT midfielder Kyle Martino, Bolton Wanderers (U.K.'s Football League Championship) midfielder Stuart Holden, who played for the U.S. in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and host Russ Thaler at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

On Sunday at 7 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents live coverage of Liverpool, last season's Premier League runners-up, hosting Borussia Dortmund, last season's Bundesliga runners-up, in a preseason friendly match from Anfield.
