This game will be the first time Central American CONCACAF FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be widely available to a national audience on cable television in the U.S.
These teams are looking to also make history by playing their way into one of the most watch sporting events in the world - The FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™. In its first-round Central American CONCACAF qualifying match, St. Kitts & Nevis found the back of the net often during both legs of competition, subsequently dismantling Turks & Caicos Islands and winning on aggregate 12-4. The victory earned the Sugar Boyz the right to advance to second-round competition. Tonight's game will mark nearly 36-years to-the-date that the St. Kitts & Nevis National Team played its first-ever soccer match. For El Salvador, the game will be the first of the qualifying tournament. The team had a first-round bye and did not play. However, Los Cuscatlecos have competed in several other events leading up to tonight's match, and are now looking to begin its long journey back to playing in the World Cup after a 26-year absence.Videos
