NBC Ratings: 'Little Big Shots' Is the Best Alternate Series Premiere

Tuesday Primetime Results:

NBC wins Tuesday among the Big 4 in every key measure, sweeping six of six half-hours in adults 18-49 and total viewers, led by the #1-2 shows of the night in every key category, "The Voice" and a special Tuesday preview of "Little Big Shots."

Starting with the 8:30 half-hour Sunday night, NBC has now led 17 consecutive primetime half-hours among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49

A Tuesday preview of "Little Big Shots" (2.9/10 in 18-49, 12.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Ranks as the best alternative series premiere or preview on any network in four-and-a-half years (since Fox's "X-Factor" on 9/21/11, 4.4 A18-49, 8-10 p.m.)

· Is the best NBC alternative series premiere or preview in nearly five years (since "The Voice" on 4/26/11, 5.1 A18-49, 9-11 p.m.)

· Ranks as the top alternative series premiere or preview on any network in five years (since SECRET MILLIONAIRE on 3/6/11, 12.695 million,8-9 p.m.)

· Scores as the most-watched NBC alternative series premiere or preview in six years (since "The Marriage Ref" out of the Olympic Closing Ceremony on 2/28/10, 14.448 million, 10:31-11:01pm)

· Wins the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure.

· Outscores the combined ABC-CBS competition by +61% in adults 18-49 (3.1 vs. 1.0 for CBS and 0.8 for ABC).

· Scores NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot since the "Voice" finale Dec. 15 (3.1 in 18-49, 13.3 million viewers overall in the 10-11 p.m. hour).

· The regular-slot premiere of "Little Big Shots" is scheduled for this Sunday, March 13, from 8-9 p.m. ET.

"The Voice" (3.1/10 in 18-49, 13.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Grows versus last week's Tuesday season premiere by +3% in 18-49 (3.1 vs. 3.0) and +9% in total viewers (13.427 million vs. 12.285 million).

· Scores the show's top Tuesday 18-49 and total-viewer results since Sept. 29, 2015 (3.7 in 18-49, 13.603 million viewers overall).

· Ranks #1 or tied for #1 among all of last night's telecasts on the Big 4 networks in every key measure.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - season to date, Monday's "Voice" has grown by +24% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 2.91 to a 3.62) and 2.1 million viewers overall (11.8 million to 13.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· Upscale: Tuesday's "Voice" has delivered a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 116 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

· In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Jimmy Fallon's encore (0.9) matched the combined ABC-CBS original results for "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.4) and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.5).

· In 18-49 in the local people meters, Seth Meyers' rebroadcast (0.5) beat Colbert's original (0.4) and tied Kimmel's first-run (0.5), despite the later start time for Meyers' encore.

· In 18-49, Carson Daly's rebroadcast (0.3) topped Corden's original (0.2) and tied a first-run "Nightline" (0.3), despite starting an hour later than both shows.

· Fallon's guests Tuesday night included Donald Trump, Ken Jeong and musical guest Cam (encore).

· Meyers' guests Tuesday included Senator John McCain, JB Smoove and musical guest Lukas Graham (encore).

· Daly's guests Tuesday night included Mayim Bialik, Jonathan Krisel and musical guest Miami Horror (encore).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/5 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
