NBC Musical Drama ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST Adds Mary Steenburgen To Cast

According to Variety, NBC has added Mary Steenburgen to the cast of the upcoming ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST. She is set to play the mother of Zoey. Read more about the news from Variety here!

Variety describes the series as "a musical dramedy about Zoey (Jane Levy), who is suddenly able to hear the innermost thoughts of people around her as songs and even big musical numbers that they perform just for her. With this new ability at her disposal, she is able to use her "gift" to not only help herself understand people in her life, but also to help others around her."

Steenburgen is known for her work on THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE, THE HELP and STEP BROTHERS. She earned a Golden Globe and Oscar for MELVIN AND HOWARD.
