This summer, Matt Blashaw, star of DIY Network's Yard Crashers, has been tapped to host HGTV's new series Vacation House For Free. The series, which premieres in July, is shot in dreamy vacation locales across the country, including those with beautiful beaches, wine country and mountainside resort towns. Due to the demanding production schedule that requires Blashaw to be on location for extended periods, DIY Network will temporarily hand over Yard Crashers hosting duties to Going Yard star and professional landscaper Chris Lambton. Lambton says he is "looking forward to taking the reins and continuing to show people how to enjoy their backyards."

Fans can get their first glimpse of Chris in his new "summer job" as Yard Crashers host on Wednesday, May 14, at 3 p.m. ET when he hosts a Google Hangout to reveal his grand landscaping plans for DIY Network's Blog Cabin 2014. For directions on how to join the hangout, click here.

"Yard Crashers is in great hands with Chris at the wheel," said Matt. "I'm asking fans to show him love and support until I return. I'm off to build homeowner dreams and work on my tan."

Matt says he is excited about Vacation House for Free. "I have the opportunity to see some of the most stunning areas of the country and show families how to find, remodel and own a vacation home mortgage free. My new series has all the things you love about HGTV: incredible scenery, a look inside homes for sale around the country, and me building like a mad man to renovate homes."
