Marguerite Derricks has been tapped to choreograph the upcoming ABC Family Pilot "Bunheads" starring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster. Amy Sherman Palladino (Gilmore Girls) wrote and will direct the pilot and will also serve as executive producer. The project centers around Michelle (Foster), a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man, moves to his sleepy coastal town, and takes an uneasy role at her new mother-in-law's dance school.

One of the most in demand choreographers working today in the entertainment industry, Marguerite Derricks recently choreographed The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards as well as a fantastic number on Dancing with the Stars. Marguerite has choreographed such memorable films as the Austin Powers franchise, the Charlie's Angels films, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Little Ms. Sunshine, Tropic Thunder, and most recently No Strings Attached. In the television world Marguerite has choreographed for Third Rock from the Sun (Emmy Award), The Good Will Games (Emmy Award), Fame LA (Emmy Award), True Blood, Will and Grace, and That 70's Show, among several others. She also choreographed the 2009 Academy Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman.

In addition to conquering television and film, Marguerite has significant theatre credits to her name as including The Rocky Horror Show at the Tiffany Theatre, Finian's Rainbow at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami, Sister Act at the Pasadena Playhouse, Cirque du Soleil "Zumanity" in New York and Las Vegas, and the Broadway musical Wonderland which opened in April of 2011.
