MSG Network will count down the top moments and plays from the New York Rangers and New York Knicks on MSG Countdown, premiering Monday, August 4 at 9:00 p.m. Hosted by well-known comedian Godfrey, MSG Countdown will bring fans unforgettable moments from the last 40 years, counting down "Top Moments of the 21st Century Rangers;" "Top Moments of the 21st Century Knicks;" "50-50-50 Club" (50 pts. in a game, 50 goals in a season, or 50 saves by a goalie in a game); "Lundqvist's Top Shut Outs;" "Penalty Shots, Shoot Outs & Saves;" "Top Moments of the 2013-14 Rangers;" and more. The 30-minute countdown show is slated for 10 episodes.

Kicking off Monday, August 4 with MSG Countdown: Top Moments of the 2013-14 Rangers, fans can relive 20 memorable moments from this past season including Henrik Lundqvist breaking the record for most wins by a Rangers goalie (3/18/14), Martin St. Louis's overtime goal in Game #4 vs Montreal (5/25/14), and the Rangers 1-0 victory over Montreal which sent them to the finals for the first time in 20 years (5/29/14).

Godfrey is one of the most dominant forces on the comedy scene where he is in demand both as a host and standup headliner at the most prominent comedy clubs across both coasts including: The Comedy Cellar, the Comic Strip, Caroline's Comedy Club; and The Laugh Factory and The Improv in Los Angeles. Film and television credits include: Zoolander, 30 Rock, Louie, Johnson Family Vacation, The Cook Out, and Soul Plane, in addition to his own half-hour special for Comedy Central.
