"Meet the Press with David Gregory" was the top-rated Sunday morning public affairs hour for the week ending October 14, 2012, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

“Meet the Press” attracted 2.792 million total viewers, leading the Face the Nation hour by +18% (+429,000), This Week by +19% (+437,000), and FOX News Sunday by +102% (+1,412,000).

MTP delivered an additional 1,371,000 total viewers and 638,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts -- 688,000 total viewers and 299,000 viewers A25-54 on the network, and 683,000 total viewers and 339,000 viewers A25-54 on MSNBC.

In Washington, DC, MTP averaged 82,000 total viewers (2.7/8 HH), +49% ahead of the Face the Nation hour’s 55,000 viewers (1.8/5 HH), +78% over FOX News Sunday’s 46,000 viewers (1.6/5 HH), and +165% more than This Week’s 31,000 viewers (1.4/4 HH).
