Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" ranked #1 in the key A25-54 demo for the full 2016 broadcast year, marking the show's first yearly demo win since 2012. According to Nielsen data, MTP averaged 1.090 million demo viewers for the year, topping CBS' "Face the Nation" half hour by +149,000 , ABC's "This Week" by +167,000, and "FOX News Sunday" by +619,000.

MTP delivered its narrowest total viewer margin with "Face the Nation" since 2012, with just 85,000 viewers separating the two broadcasts - despite CBS only rating 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. Compared to 2015, MTP narrowed the gap with the CBS half-hour by 211,000 total viewers (-85,000 vs. -296,000 in 2015).

In this critical election year, MTP posted the strongest year-over-year growth in the program's history among total viewers and both younger demos A25-54 and A18-49. The broadcast grew by +29% in A25-54 and A18-49, and by +20% in total viewers compared to 2015 -- outpacing the competition across the board. In the A25-54 news demo, MTP's year-over-year growth exceeded that of the competition by double digits (NBC: +29% vs. CBS: +16%, FOX: +14%, and ABC: +2%).

MTP also ranked #1 in the A25-54 demo for the fourth quarter of 2016 and delivered its largest 4Q audience among both total viewers and the demo since 2008. 4Q16 marks MTP's fourth consecutive quarterly win in the demo.
