MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD Is The #1 Most-Watched Sunday Show Across The Board For Sixth Straight Week

"Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, March 4, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its sixth straight week at #1 - its best streak in almost a year.

Sunday's broadcast featured an interview with Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross on President Trump's controversial tariff announcement as well as exclusive interviews with Denis McDonough, former chief of staff to President Barack Obama, and Sen. Angus King (I-Maine).

3.410 million total viewers tuned into MTP: +18 percent (+514,000) more than ABC's "This Week" and three percent (+112,000) more than CBS' "Face the Nation," which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. This is MTP's 47th straight win over ABC and sixth straight win over CBS in total viewers, and compared to last week, MTP improved its total viewer advantage over ABC by 15 percent.

MTP was also the most-watched broadcast in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its thirteenth straight broadcast, beating both ABC and CBS by double-digits. 956,000 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +16 percent (+133,000) more than ABC and +34 percent (+243,000) more than CBS.

Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across-the-board for the first time in seven years (since 2010-2011) with its largest advantage over ABC in total viewers in six seasons.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers for almost three straight years (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 1.487 million total viewers and 403,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
