MAURY, JERRY SPRINGER, STEVE WILKOS Sold Through 2014

NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution hit talk show franchise's "Maury," "The Jerry Springer Show" and "The Steve Wilkos Show" have all been sold through September 2014 to station groups including Tribune, Sinclair and Hearst, it was announced today by Barry Wallach, President, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

All three talk shows have been renewed on station groups covering more than 50% of the U.S. for the next three seasons in national syndication. Tribune stations include WPIX-TV New York, KTLA-TV Los Angeles and WPHL-TV Philadelphia; Sinclair stations include WPGH-TV Pittsburgh and WTTE-TV Columbus; and Hearst stations include WKCF-TV Orlando and WMOR-TV Tampa.

""Maury,' "The Jerry Springer Show' and "The Steve Wilkos Show' continue to be three of the highest-rated talk shows in all of daytime television" said Wallach. "In a business where shows often come and go, these shows continue to attract millions of viewers each week and remain constants in a sea of change."

For the 2009-10 season "Maury" posted a 2.0 rating up 11% in Households from 2008-09 (1.8) and "Maury" was the #1 syndicated talk show in adults 18-34 for the 2009-10 season with a 1.2 rating (tied with "Oprah"); "The Jerry Springer Show" posted a 1.3 rating, up 18% in Households from 2008-09 (1.1) and "The Steve Wilkos Show" averaged a 1.2 rating, up 20% over 2008-09 (1.0).

And the momentum continues--at the start of the 2010-11 season, "Maury," which is currently in its 13th season, delivered its highest Household rating for a season premiere in three years (1.5, 1.6, 1.9: +19% vs. last season's season premiere); "The Jerry Springer Show" just began its 20th season in national syndication with its highest Household rating for a season premiere in three years (0.9, 1.1, 1.4: +27% vs. last year's season premiere); and "The Steve Wilkos Show" is delivering its highest Households rating for a season premiere in the program's four year history (0.9, 1.0, 1.1, 1.3: +18% vs. last year's season premiere.)

"Maury," The Jerry Springer Show" and "The Steve Wilkos Show" are taped in front of live studio audiences at the Stamford Media Center in Stamford, CT. Paul Faulhaber is the executive producer on "Maury." Rachelle Wilkos is the executive producer for both "The Jerry Springer Show" and "The Steve Wilkos Show." All three talk shows are produced by Stamford Media Center and Production LLC and distributed in the U.S. by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
