LHN coverage begins at noon from the field at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with Texas GameDay, hosted by LHN anchor Lowell Galindo. He is joined by COLLEGE FOOTBALL Hall of Famer Ricky Williams, National Championship and SUPER BOWL winning tight end David Thomas, and NFL and Longhorn first-team All-Big 12 linebacker Emmanuel Acho. Texas GameDay Final Powered by Chevy Silverado airs immediately following the scrimmage, also from the field at DKR. LHN's Jane Slater and Alex Loeb will contribute to both shows.

Galindo will transition from Texas GameDay host to game play-by-play with ESPN analyst Ahmad Brooks calling the Orange and White Game at 1 p.m. Slater will report from the sidelines.

In February, Coach Charlie Strong signed the No. 1 class in the Big 12 and the No. 10 class nationwide, and the Orange and White Game will provide the first game-action look at some of the new recruits who arrived early on campus. Among the freshmen to watch will be Shane Buechele, who is competing with the returning Tyrone Swoopes for the starting quarterback position; and wide receiver Collin Johnson, brother of Longhorn running back Kirk Johnson and son of Longhorn Legend Johnnie Johnson.

The Longhorns kick off the 2016 regular season against Notre Dame on Sunday, Sept. 4 in Austin, followed by a home game against UTEP on Sept. 10, and an away game in Berkeley against the California Golden Bears on Sept. 17.

As part of the Texas Football Fan Fest starting at 11 a.m., Longhorn Network hosts the "41st Acre" at Gate 25 in DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. Fans can take a photo at the Texas GameDay anchor desk or the LHN photo booth, and test their Texas Trivia knowledge for LHN giveaways. Texas Cheer & Pom, Hook 'Em, and Longhorn Legends will be on-site to participate in photo opportunities with fans.

Immediately following the conclusion of Texas GameDay Final, Longhorn Network will televise live the Texas baseball matchup vs. Kansas, (4:30pm CT listing time) the second of a three game series from UFCU Disch-Faulk field.

Keith Moreland and Greg Swindell, both former Longhorns, will be the play-by-play commentator and analyst, respectively, on the telecast. Moreland, an outfielder, helped the Longhorns reach three consecutive College World Series, including winning the CWS in 1975. He went on to play Major League Baseball from 1978-1989, including winning a WORLD SERIES with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1980. Swindell, a pitcher, played in MLB from 1986-2002, including an All-Star appearance in 1989 and a WORLD SERIES title in 2001 with the Arizona Diamondbacks. At Texas, he was the 1985 Baseball America National Player of the Year, a three-time finalist for the Golden Spikes Award and helped the Longhorns reach the CWS in 1983, 1984, and 1985. Moreland had his number retired in 2010 by Texas, while Swindell, who shared the same number as Roger Clemens, was honored by the university in 2009.
