Lindsay Lohan Confirmed for GLEE Appearance

Yesterday, BroadwayWorld reported that Lindsay Lohan was in final negotiations to guest star as herself in one of the season's final episodes of GLEE. A representative for the actress has now confirmed the report to E! News commenting "Lindsay will be appearing in an episode of Glee."

The star will play herself as a celebrity judge at the show's fictional Nationals competition. GLEE has used other celebrities in past seasons to appear as guest judges for the singing competition including Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John.

Lohan is in the midst of attempting a career comeback after being sidelined by a host of legal issues. She recently hosted NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' and has recently been cast as legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime biopic. In 2008, she had a multi-arc role in the ABC drama series 'Ugly Betty'.

Yesterday it was confirmed that comedian and talk-show host Whoopi Goldberg would also be making a guest appearance in the final episodes of the show.
