LeAnn Rimes in Talks to Join THE X FACTOR Season 2

According to The Huffington Post, singer LeAnn Rimes is the latest star reportedly in talks to join the judge's panel of Fox's THE X FACTOR Season 2. The show has been searching for replacement judges and a new host after Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones were fired from the show last year. 

Eddie Cibrian, husband of Rimes, revealed in an interview with "Extra", "They've been talking. I have no idea what's going on with that. I think they've been talking to a lot of people." Cibrian added, "I think she would be unbelievable on a show like that...As a mentor, which is key for that show 'The X Factor,' I think she has a lot of great input and actually could an help these people out...Plus, she can sing."

According to the report, Rimes met with show producers on March 7th. Other names recently rumored to be interested in appearing on the show include Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry.
