Krysten Ritter to Star in Jake Hoffman's Debut Film ASTHMA?

Deadline.com reports that Krysten Ritter will star in Jake Hoffman's directorial debut ASTHMA, alongside Benedict Samuel. Hoffman also penned the script.

ASTHMA follows New York City's indie rock scene and is aiming to begin production this fall for Union Entertainment Group. Christine Lahti and The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr. are also in the cast.

Ritter just signed on for the Veronica Mars movie and is currently filming for Tim Burton's Big Eyes, as well as the NBC pilot Assistance and Search Party.

Past TV credits include Don't Trust the B---- In Apt 23, Breaking Bad, Gravity, Woke Up Dead, 'Til Death, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars and more.
