Kristen Bell to Star in Musical Comedy FANTASY CAMP for STX
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kristen Bell is attached to star in STXfilm's musical comedy Fantasy Camp, where she will play a flailing junior high school teacher that faces her fears and pursues her dreams while attending a Broadway performing arts camp for adults.
The film was written by Sid Karger and is being produced by Greg Silverman (Edge of Tomorrow, Lego Movie Sequel) and Madhouse Entertainment.
This is one of several female-fronted project being produced by the studio. I Feel Pretty, starring Amy Schumer, is due out in theaters this month, while the Melissa McCarthy-starring puppet musical The Happy Time Murders and the Jennifer Lopez-led rom-com Second Act, are in the pipeline.
Kristen Bell reprises her role of FROZEN's Princess Anna in the upcoming Disney animated film FROZEN 2. She can currently be seen in the NBC comedy series THE GOOD PLACE. The actress made her Broadway debut in 2001's THE ADVENTURES OF Tom Sawyer and starred in the 2002 revival of THE CRUCIBLE.
