At 11:48 a.m. EDT, live, on ABC's "The View," it was declared by an official adjudicator that Jason Ritter, star of ABC's "Kevin (Probably) Saves the World," achieved the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for Most hugs given in one minute by an individual. Ritter, donning his headband and supported by "The View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and brand-new co-host, Meghan McCain, achieved a new record of 86 hugs given by an individual in a minute, besting the previous record of 79 hugs set in March 2016.
