Jimmy Kimmel to Be First 'LIVE' Guest Co-Host Following Strahan Exit

Get ready for a slew of guest co-hosts once Michael Strahan exits LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL on Friday, May 13th. According to The Hollywood Reporter, late night host Jimmy Kimmel will be first up in the co-hosting seat. He joins Kelly Ripa for the live show on Monday, May 16th.

A source recently shared with PEOPLE that ABC has "a long roster of people who will step in to guest host" and the network plans on "rotating a bunch of people in." It remains unclear how long the search for Ripa's new co-host will take, but the network is "prepared to keep cycling people through even if its not resolved by the fall."

They continue, "Expect to see people like Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, Josh Groban and Seth Meyers. They all came on a lot last time and she loved them," the source said. "She is really close with Anderson and Andy and she loves them. But she's open to trying a bunch of different people. It was clear she really liked the process last time."
