Bravo Media's Emmy Award-winning "Inside the Actors Studio," hosted by James Lipton welcomes actor, musician and playwright Jeff Daniels to the stage on Thursday, January 7 at 8pm ET/PT. The Emmy-winning performer discusses his recent role of John Sculley in the critically-acclaimed film, "Steve Jobs," and his upcoming Broadway run starring in "Blackbird," beginning February 2016. In the episode, Daniels delves into his Midwestern roots, where both he and his wife, Kathleen Treado, talk about The Purple Rose Theater, which they founded in Chelsea, Michigan. Additionally, viewers will learn of Daniels' experiences acting in such films as "The Purple Rose of Cairo" and "Terms of Endearment," as well as his time working with Aaron Sorkin on his Emmy-winnning portrayal of Will McAvoy in "The Newsroom." Finally, Daniels showcases his musical ambitions with a song inspired by Clint Eastwood.

Known for such films as "Terms of Endearment," "The Purple Rose of Cairo," "Arachnophobia" and his critically acclaimed television role in "The Newsroom," Daniels has received several prestigious nominations, as well as two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. Outside of screen work, Daniels has many stage credits to his name, including "God of Carnage," "The Golden Age," "Redwood Curtain," and "Fifth of July." Daniels is also a musician and songwriter, and is currently performing his music on tour.
