Jackie Chan to Produce and Star in New Animated Film ONCE UPON A ZODIAC

Jackie Chan will lend his voice to "Once Upon a Zodiac," an animated feature film, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Chan will also executive produce the movie.

Chan will play elderly cat Zell, who has long embraced the role of the cats as the stewards of the Zodiac, and maintains of the traditions and balance of the other animals, as his legendary status among the animal leaders and their young heirs remains second to none.

"We are proud to have Jackie Chan part of this film as an executive producer. We are captivated by Jackie Chan's talent and the leadership that he brings to our animated film," producer Galen Walker said in a statement.

Chan also lent his voice to the Chinese editions of the Walt Disney Animation Studios production Mulan, and starred his own animated hit series, Jackie Chan Adventures.
