Despite winning the hearts of millions worldwide, one person who has not jumped on the Susan Boyle train is former American Idol contestant and recording artist Adam Lambert.

Lambert recently expressed his disapproval of Boyle to Britain's Gay Times: "If only it weren't for Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!...Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: 'Wow, look what I did.'"

After an audition for "Britain's Got Talent," in which Susan immediately impressed the judges, the audience and then anyone with access to YouTube's expectations by singing her way through a version of "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables. A tornado of rumination and amazement grew around Susan Boyle feverishly, with over 300 Million YouTube hits and nearly two million Facebook friends to prove it.

'I Dreamed A Dream' was recorded during the summer of 2009 and has since gone triple platinum. "It was important that I could feel everything I was singing," she says. The 12 track collection features Susan Boyle performing signature songs such as "I Dreamed A Dream", "Cry Me A River," as well as her haunting rendition of The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses," Madonna's "You'll See," The Monkees' "Daydream Believer," and "Who I Was Born To Be," an original recording written especially for Susan.

Adam Lambert first got the attention of the nation last year during the eighth season of American Idol, for which he was the runner-up. His wide vocal range and unique musical style has helped Lambert land high on the Billboard charts with multiple debuts on the Hot 100 and the Hot Digital Songs charts. His first album, For Your Entertainment (19 Recordings/RCA), recently debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Charts with 198,469 albums sold in the first week. Lambert additionally recorded the soundtrack "Time for Miracles" for the disaster movie 2012, released on October 20, 2009 as a side project single. The song also appears on For Your Entertainment. Lambert recently participated in the American Idols LIVE! Tour 2009 with his fellow Top 10 contestants. He is the recipient of the Young Hollywood Award for Artist of the Year and the Teen Choice Award for Reality/Variety Star. Barbara Walters also named him one of the 10 most fascinating people of 2009.

As an actor, Lambert appeared in WICKED twice, once with the touring company in March 2005 for a six month contract, and then opening in the sitdown Los Angeles production in February 2007 and remaining with the show until October 2008. For both engagements in Wicked,he was a member of The Ensemble and understudied the role of Fieryo, the show's love interest.
