Hit Comedy Podcast Comes to HBO For A Special

HBO will bring the hit British comedy podcast MY DAD WROTE A PORNO to the network for a comedy special in 2019, it was announced today by Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO Programming. Hosted by Jamie Morton, James Cooper and Alice Levine, the podcast has been downloaded more than 100 million times since its launch in 2015.

MY DAD WROTE A PORNO features Jamie Morton reading a chapter from the "Belinda Blinked" series of "erotic" novels, written by his real-life father under the nom de plumeRocky Flintstone, with his friends James Cooper and Alice Levine providing uproarious commentary. Hailed as a "global word-of-mouth sensation" by the Hollywood Reporter, the podcast has been described as "addictive and instantly engaging" by Indiewire and "gratuitously mucky and achingly funny" by the Financial Times.
