Helena Bonham-Carter Appears to Be Taking Over the Role of Princess Margaret on The Crown
Vanessa Kirby took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with Helena Bonham-Carter with the simple caption "Honoured." This photo has been taken to be confirmation of the long-speculated casting of Bonham-Carter as Princess Margaret in the Netflix drama The Crown.

According to Variety, Kirby has played the role of the Princess for the first two seasons, but the third season will bring a new cast to the major roles. Olivia Colman will take over Claire Foy's role of Queen Elizabeth. No word on who will take over Matt Smith's role of Prince Philip.
Peter Morgan, the series creator had always intended to replace the main actors as the characters were aging to make the acting more realistic.
