HBO Reveals December Episode Descriptions for THE COMEBACK

HBO has shared episode descriptions for December for their hit comedy series THE COMEBACK. The limited comedy series stars Lisa Kudrow as the embattled Valerie Cherish, a fading TV "It Girl" who was once so desperate to stay in the spotlight that she allowed cameras to follow her every move as she appeared on a new sitcom - with disastrous results. Now, it's ten years later, and Valerie thinks she has it all figured out this time. She doesn't.
Created by Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow, who serve as executive producers along with Dan Bucatinsky. This season will be written by Michael Patrick King, Lisa Kudrow, Amy B. Harris and John Riggi. In addition to Lisa Kudrow, the confirmed cast includes Lance Barber, Dan Bucatinsky, Robert Michael Morris, Laura Silverman and Damian Young. Episode #18: "Valerie Is Taken Seriously" Debut date: SUNDAY, DEC. 7 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT) Other HBO playdates: Dec. 7 (12:05 a.m., 2:10 a.m.), 8 (12:15 a.m.), 9 (midnight), 10 (9:25 p.m.) and 12 (8:30 p.m.) HBO2 playdates: Dec. 8 (6:30 p.m.), 11 (10:00 p.m.), 13 (3:00 p.m.) and 28 (8:15 p.m.) On the set of "Seeing Red," a new director's decision to use a green screen takes Valerie (Lisa Kudrow) out of her comfort zone. Billy flips out when HBO publicity sets up an exclusive interview for Valerie. Later, worried about an increasingly agitated Paulie G. (Lance Barber), Valerie pays a visit to his old writing partner.Valerie tries to plan a special date night for her and Mark (Damian Young), but a grueling day-long reshoot in the desert thwarts her plans. Meanwhile, Valerie sets off Paulie's anxiety by talking about early reviews of "Seeing Red." Also featured in this episode are Dan Bucatinsky as Billy, Mark L. Young as Tyler, Lillian Hurst as Esperanza, Meryl Hathaway as Andie, Bayne Gibby as Gigi, Brian Delate as Ron Wesson, Kate Comer as Rada and Rose Abdoo as Marianina.
