Established in 1960, Tower Records was once a retail powerhouse with close to two hundred stores, in more than a dozen countries, on four continents. From humble beginnings in a small-town drugstore, Tower Records eventually became the heart and soul of the music world, and a powerful force in the music industry. In 1999, Tower Records made $1 billion. In 2006, the company filed for bankruptcy. What went wrong? Everyone thinks they know what killed Tower Records: The Internet. But that's not the story. ALL THINGS MUST PASS is a feature documentary film examining this iconic company's explosive trajectory, tragic demise, and legacy forged by its rebellious founder, Russ Solomon.

ALL THINGS MUST PASS documentary took over 7 years to complete after securing initial funding from its popular Kickstarter campaign with over 1,600 backers The film has been a labor of love for Hanks and Stuart who both hail from Sacramento, California, home town of the fallen music retailer. Director Colin Hanks remarked, "It's already been an incredible journey, making this film with such a talented team - from our amazing group of producers to our writer and editor, and our phenomenal film subjects. We could not be more thrilled."

ALL THINGS MUST PASS was produced by Sean Stuart, executive produced by Glen Zipper and written by Steven Leckart. Music legends and entertainment moguls lending their thoughts include: Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, Elton John, and David Geffen. Principal cast includes Tower Record founder Russ Solomon, Michael Solomon, Heidi Cotler, Mark Viducic, Stan Goman, and Bob Delanoy.

Commenting on his company's acquisition of the film Mr. Gallagher said, "It's an honor to help share the story of Tower Records and to shine a light on the thousands of Tower employees whose PASSION for music over 50 years made it the record store of choice for millions of fans. Colin Hanks and the ALL THINGS MUST PASS team have made a film that transcends music, business, and friendship and we cannot wait to share this story with old and new fans of Tower alike."

"We are incredibly excited to partner with Gravitas," said Producer Sean Stuart. "We have an enormous amount of respect for them and their PASSION for film. We are delighted that they are helping bring 'All Things Must Pass' to the big screen."

The deal for ALL THINGS MUST PASS was negotiated by Nolan Gallagher, Founder and CEO, Gravitas Ventures with Marc Bortz and Kevin Iwashina from Preferred Content and Josh Braun and Dan Braun from Submarine on behalf of the filmmakers.
