According to TVGuide.com, GLEE star Max Adler will join the cast of the upcoming ABC pilot LAST RESORT. Co-starring with Adler will be Oscar-nominated actor Bruce Davidson. The project is from Shawn Ryan, creator of 'The Shield'. The actors will join previously annouced cast members Andre Braugher, Scott Speedman, Autumn Reeser and Daisy Betts.

LAST RESORT follows the story of a "renegade submarine crew who go on the run after defying an order to fire nuclear missiles." Leading the team will be Captain Marcus Chaplin, played by Braugher. The crew find a haven at a NATO base where they declare themselves an "independent nuclear station."  No details have been given as to the roles Adler and Davidson will play in the pilot.

Adler is best known for his role as Dave Karofsky, a bullying football player who recently announced he was gay on the Fox hit musical drama series GLEE. Davidson has appeared on TV in Covert Affairs and Hawaii Five-0.
