GLEE's Becca Tobin Refers to Deceased Boyfriend as 'Extraordinary' Via Instagram

As BroadwayWorld.com previously reported, the boyfriend of GLEE's Becca Tobin, Matt Bendik was found dead three weeks ago in a Philadelphia hotel room.

Tobin, who portrays 'Katty Wilde' on the FOX musical dramedy, finally addressed his death via Instagram.

She said, "Thank you all for the love and support. Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever."

According to the TMZ report, the couple was in Philly on business and were out celebrating on Wednesday night before returning to their hotel room. On Thursday afternoon, a maid discovered Bendik's body.

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed that Bendik's body was found, but gave no other details on his mysterious death.

Bendik managed several major clubs around the country. He was also the Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub in Los Angeles and a co-owner of AV Nightclub. Friends told the site that he was not known as a "partier" and are devastated and shocked by the news of his death.

Reps for the actress have not responded to requests for comment.

Coincidently, this month marks the one-year anniversary of the death of GLEE's Cory Monteith, who died from a drug overdose in his hotel room in Vancouver.
