In Part II of Seth's interview with recent Tony Award Nominees BOOK OF MORMON's Josh Gad and Rory O'Malley, the actors share more hilarious tales with the Sirius/XM Live audience.

Rory O'Malley's film debut came several years ago when he appeared as the "only white actor" in the 2006 movie version of DREAMGIRLS. His one-minute cameo appearance in the film was so quick he came to refer to it as "The White Flash". O'Malley recounted the audition process that earned him the role. "When the breakdowns came out I probably got like 50 phone calls from friends saying, 'They're looking for the whitest, squarest man that ever lived - you gotta go out for it!' " However, the audition did not go quite as planned. "My agent said to sing something that's really square, really lame, so I had some old arts song that I was going to sing," explained O'Malley. "I put my song down for the pianist and he took one look at it and told me he thought it was a big mistake. He suggested that I should sing a really great soulful song and turn it really lame." O'Malley greatly appreciated the advice. "I said, 'well I have "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" and he's like, 'well alright then, let's white that sucker up!' And that's what I did. And that got me the role!"

Unexpected rewards have come Gad's way as well. He was recently nominated for a Fred and Adele Astaire Award for dancing and claims to be as flabbergasted as everyone else. "My personal feeling is that the voters saw the show and were so grateful that I didn't have a heart attack they said 'we have to reward him'."

A bit of panic set in upon hearing some unexpected news from joker O'Malley. "My good friend here told me, 'by the way, if you win, you're gonna have to perform a solo dance that you choreograph yourself." explained Gad, who actually believed the tale to be true. "I started thinking maybe they nominated me because I'm so awful and they wanted me to do this so it would be a joke and I'll just fail in front of everybody." Rudetsky asked the actor when he finally realized his co-star was pulling his leg. "You know," confessed the actor, " I'm still not totally convinced!"
