GAME OF THRONES' Kit Harington Signs On for TESTAMENT OF YOUTH

GAME OF THRONES' Kit Harington has officially boarded the film adaptation of TESTAMENT OF YOUTH, originally published in 1933, and recounting Vera Britain's life during the First World War, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Alicia Vikander also stars.

YOUTH, follows a young Britain (Vikander), and how she "was about to embark to Oxford when the Great War changed everything as she lost her fiancé and brother in battles and became a nurse on the frontlines. After the war, she tried to resume her life but found herself part of a lost generation, returning to Oxford and becoming a feminist and a writer."

Harington will take on the role of Britain's fiance.

The actor recently completed Paul W.S. Anderson's POMPEII, also starring Kiefer Sutherland and Emily Browning. The film hits theaters later this month.
