FX Presents An 'American Horror Story' Halloween Marathon

FX will air a special Halloween marathon of the new hit drama American Horror Story featuring the first four episodes of the series on Monday, October 31 beginning at 10:00 PM E/P. In addition to the Halloween marathon, series Co-Creators and Executive Producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have produced a special two-part Halloween-themed episode in honor of the horror-filled holiday; the first hour airs Wednesday, October 26 at 10:00 PM ET/PT and the second airs Wednesday, November 2 at the same time. Feature film star Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) guest stars in both episodes as one of the house's former owners.

Episode three of American Horror Story airs tomorrow (Oct. 19) at 10 PM ET/PT.

Through two weeks, American Horror Story is averaging 3.8 million Total Viewers, 2.6 million Adults 18-49 and 1.5 million Adults 18-34 (Live+3). AHS posted outstanding ratings for its series debut (10/5/11) drawing 4.2 million Total Viewers and 2.8 million Adults 18-49. Furthermore, the series debut was FX's most-watched original series premiere in delivery of Adults 18-34, Women 18-49 and Women 18-34. In delivery of Adults 18-49, the AHS series premiere is likely to tie or surpass The Shield for the #1 spot in Adults 18-49 for an FX series premiere when Live+7 data is recorded. Episode two achieved one of the highest audience retentions for an FX original series from series premiere to week two, declining a minimal -10% on Adults 18-49 and -8% on Adults 18-34.

Listed below are episode descriptions for the AHS Halloween Marathon on Oct. 31:

· Episode 1 - "Pilot" 10:00 PM E/P (original air date October 5, 10PM E/P) - A therapist moves his wife and teenage daughter across the country to escape their troubled past. The Harmon family quickly discovers their new home comes with its own kind of baggage. Written by Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk; Directed by Ryan Murphy.

· Episode 2 - "Home Invasion" 11:10 PM E/P (original air date October 12, 10 PM E/P) - Vivien and Violet find themselves in a dangerous situation eerily similar to a past event. Ben goes back to Boston to fix a mistake. Written by Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk; Directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.

· Episode 3 - "Murder House" 12:10 AM E/P (original air date October 19, 10PM E/P) - After putting the house back on the market, Vivien learns about its first residents. Ben's visitor causes him to further unravel. Constance and Moira's history is revealed. Written by Jennifer Salt; directed by Brad Buecker.

· Episode 4 - "Halloween, Part 1" 1:10 AM E/P (original air date October 26, 10PM E/P) - The line between the living and the dead blurs on Halloween. Two of the house's previous residents give the Harmons decorating advice. Written by James Wong; Directed by David Semel.

American Horror Story revolves around the Harmons, a family of three who moved from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all-star cast features Dylan McDermott as "Ben Harmon," a psychiatrist; Connie Britton as "Vivien Harmon," Ben's wife; Taissa Farmiga as "Violet," the Harmon's teenage daughter; Jessica Lange in her first-ever regular series TV role as "Constance," the Harmon's neighbor; Evan Peters plays "Tate Langdon," one of Ben's patients; and Denis O'Hare as "Larry Harvey." Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy as the Harmon's housekeeper, "Moira"; Alexandra Breckenridge as the Harmon's housekeeper "Moira"; and Jamie Brewer as Constance's daughter "Adelaide."

American Horror Story, was Co-Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk who serve as Executive Producers along with Dante di Loreto will also serve as Executive Producer of the series. American Horror Story is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.
