According to USA Today, Jennifer Lopez's long-rumored return as a judge to American Idol will be made official "this week."

FOX is also reportedly in talks with former BLACK EYED PEAS lead will.i.am. to replace Randy Jackson, though no deal has officially gone through at this time. The network confirmed earlier this summer that Jackson, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and long-time producer Nigel Lithgoe would not return to the singing competition in the fall.

IDOL hopefuls will meet Emmy Award-nominated host Ryan Seacrest and the judges, including Urban, when the auditions travel to Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Detroit, Omaha, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. American Idol XIII debuts in January 2014 on FOX.
