Filmmakers, Kevin Derek and Oscar Alvarez are teaming up again after their success in securing a"Worldwide Distribution Deal" with Netflix this past March 2016, on the release of their last Award Winning feature doc,The Real Miyagi. Derek and Alvarezwere approached by Evelyn Morita, Pat's wife, to come on-board and breathe life into his manuscript.

Pat had been working on a manuscript about his life, 9 years before his death.It covers all his struggles all the way to his last marriage.
