ESPN to Air Season Finale of Sunday Night Baseball, 9/25

ESPN announced today its game selection for the 2016 SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL presented by Taco Bell season finale: the Chicago Cubs, owners of baseball's best record, led by NL MVP candidate Kris Bryant, will host their rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals and Yadier Molina at 8 p.m. ET from historic Wrigley Field.

Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell airs each week at 8 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio, ESPN DEPORTES Radio and WatchESPN. THE VOICE of Sunday Night Baseball, Dan Shulman, will provide commentary for the telecast alongside analysts Aaron Boone and Jessica Mendoza and reporter Buster Olney. Jon Sciambi and analyst Chris Singleton describe the action for ESPN Radio.

Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown presented by Chevrolet will precede the game at 7 p.m. with host Karl Ravech, analyst Dallas Braden and insider Tim Kurkjian.

This game selection marks the sixth appearance this season on SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL for both the Cubs and the Cardinals.

ESPN's MLB coverage will continue with Postseason Impact Game telecasts presented by Exxon and Mobil, leading to 2016 National League Wild Card Game telecast presented by Hankook Tire on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 8 p.m.
