Dustin Hoffman 'Feeling Great' After Cancer Treatment

Dustin Hoffman is on the road to recovery.

Jodi Gottlieb, the Academy Award winning actor's representative, confirmed to People this afternoon that he had been succesfully treated for cancer.

"It was detected early and he has been surgically cured," she saod. "Dustin is feeling great and is in good health."

Hoffman will continue to undergo preventative treatments in the future, as recommended by his doctors.

With a career spanning more than five decades in front of the camera, Dustin Hoffman is one of the world's most accomplished and highly regarded actors. Garnering 2 Academy Awards (and 7 nominations), 5 Golden Globes, 4 BAFTAs and an EMMY, Hoffman's impressive resume boasts such critically acclaimed and commercial hits as THE GRADUATE, ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, RAINMAN, MIDNIGHT COWBOY, KRAMER VS.
